Hey folks! Some cool new DVDs this week...
Apocalypto - Even after Mel Gibson's tirade against the Jewish faith, there was still a huge buzz about this movie. done in subtitles, this movie is about a young Mayan man who escapes from certain death and sacrifice due to the decline of the Mayan culture. Comes with a couple of "Making Of" extras.
Letters from Iwo Jima - Clint Eastwood directed, about the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II. Was nominated for Best Movie Oscar.
The Good German - starring George Clooney and directed by Steven Soderbergh, this movie delves into a murder investigation by an Amercian Journalist in Post World War II Berlin.
Roots - a 4 disc version of the classic mini series, with plenty of extras. Check it out!
Epic Movie - another spoof movie, this time making fun of the big blockbuster movies of recent times. Comes with plenty of extras including a "Gag Reel" and "Making of" video.
