New DVD Releases - Tuesday August 28

Another strong week of DVD releases coming up on August 28. I saw Blades of Glory in the theatre and laughed my ass off. Very funny movie. Check out my review of Blades of Glory. Here are the new DVD releases for next week...


Blades of Glory - starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder about two world class male figure skaters who join forces as a pair after they are suspended for life for their stupidity in singles skating. Hilarity ensues. I am sure this one will do very well in DVD receipts.

A Night at the Roxbury (Special Collector's Edition) - another Will Ferrell movie and his first big movie before leaving SNL. Bringing to the big screen with Chris Kataan, the Butabi brothers try to build their own dance club and find love in their own head bobbing dancing antics. Was pretty funny and will always be linked with the song "What is Love" by Haddaway.

Kickin it Old Skool - starring Jamie Kennedy as a young break dancer who attempts to get his old break dancing crew together after he wakes up from a 20 year coma from hitting his head dancing. Not a big Jamie Kennedy fan, might be good, probably stupid.

Year of the Dog - starring Molly Shannon as a woman who's life changes after her dog dies.
