Ok, this is just a clique Deaf culture show. How many times can this be done. Loved the Helper model interpreter! That was so good. Good thing they showed that Deaf really can speak up for themselves. Then again... The interpreter didn't do her job, and the investigator said "you can read my lips..." which then proceeded to say like a paragraph. He didn't get MOST of that. Who makes these shows? They are half assed in my opinion!

Most deaf people, because they are forced to live in a hearing world are FANTASTIC at reading lips. What you pointed out, that the interpreter stopped doing her job, actually happens a lot in real life...

good story line - but I agree details were off...reading lips constantly being requested & accepted by real Deaf community - ummm yeah right; detective miraculously able to sign and understand sign - not gonna happen, interpreter just chatting away without simcom or anything...don't think that happens when it is a legal situation. Interesting how everyone is always so beautiful though - don't know too many hot deans flirting with students haha
