The Amazing Race 12 - January 6 Results

The Amazing Race 12: Results - Teams are off to Japan where one team disappears from the other teams. TK and Rachel have decided to go their own way. When the teams go to their first destination and find their first clue they must drive to Noda Station by taxi where they reach a Road Block. They must drive a taxi through the "mean" streets of Japan. They must take a Japanese couple to a destination and then drive themselves back.

Jen and Nate were the first ones to arrive and Jen ends up doing it. They are followed by Christina and Ronald, then Nicolas and Donald. Lots of one way streets which is making things very difficult for the drivers. Where is TK and Rachel?

Jen is the first to return and they must race to a Kita-Mido Temple for their next clue. Christina is next and poor Nic is lost. Still no sign of TK and Rachel. Wait there they are, currently in 4th place.

Next clue...Detour. Touch or Smell. Touch is playing soccer with miniature robots using a cell phone. Smell is finding 1 real flower in a flower shop filled with plastic flowers. Jen and Nate choose Smell and so do Ronald and Christina. Nicolas and Donald choose Touch. TK and Rachel are way behind. Nate and Jen finish the Detour first again. They must then race to Tempozan Park to the Pit Stop. Ronald and Christina finish shortly after. The Race is on to the Pit Stop!!

Donald and Nicolas get their task done and are in the Race to the Pit Stop.

Ronald and Christina are the first to arrive at the Pit Stop!!! They both win an Electric vehicle!! Cool!! Jen and Nate came in second, quickly followed by Nicolas and Donald. TK and Rachel come in 4th, but they have to do all of the tasks so I am thinking it is a Non Elimination Leg. I like these two. Guess what, it is a NON-ELIMINATION LEG. WOOHOO!! They are 3 hours behind and have to do a Speed Bump next leg. I hope they can do it!!
