Phenomenon: Series Premiere - October 24 Review

Phenomenon: Series Premiere - Ten magicians and mentalists compete for top honors for supernatural sensation judges Criss Angel and Uri Geller. Fans are challenged with figuring out how the contestants perform their tricks, and whether any are based on real psychic abilities. Users can participate through forums and interactive games.

BORING!!! Just finished watching the premiere of this show and was bored to death. I was looking forward to it. I really like Criss Angel and his show Criss Angel: Mind Freak, so I made sure I tuned in tonight. Well what I saw was another boring reality show that is trying to cash in on the new big rage, namely Angel. Utterly boring and Angel even looked bored sitting there watching. This Uri Geller, the forerunner to Angel, was the Paula Abdul of this show. Speaking nicely about the contestants when really they sucked.

Maybe i am just used to watching Criss Angel: Mind Freak. That show is entertaining. This one...not so much. Maybe it will get better once the losers are booted. Maybe Criss Angel will become more interested as the show goes on. Who knows, but there will have to be nothing else on TV for me to watch this drivel again.

What a CROCK of crap....The first episode was absolutely horrible, I didn't think it could get any worse...I just saw episode 2 (yeah, I know, but I mistakenly thought it MIGHT get better!) and it was BORING, contrived, BORING, and worst of all, everything seemed totally PHONY!

A total bunch of crud. Even the "fight" tonight was staged. It is so contrived it was painful to watch. All I can see when I look at Angel is a 40 year old Bon Jovi wanna be. Someone needs to tell him the 80's were a long time ago. And would someone fix his hair.... Please!
