How I Met Your Mother: We're Not From Here - Monday October 1

So I thought what a great way to start my TV Show reviews the with Monday Comedy Night from CBS. Two of my favourite shows right now are on Monday nights and that is How I Met Your Mother and Two and a Half Men. This first review is of episode We're Not From Here from How I Met Your Mother. So here it is...

After seeing girls go crazy over Robin's Argentinian lover Gael, played by Enrique Iglesias, Barney and Ted decide to pose as out-of-towners, in order to meet chicks. The other storyline on this episode is how Marshall and Lily make there death packages for if and when they will die. They agree to include a letter which they can't open until the other dies. Marshall breaks the rules and finds out Lily didn't put the most romantic of letters in hers.

This was another funny episode of How I Met Your Mother from one of the funniest shows on TV. The acting was solid and the story very funny. We get to see more of how Ted and Robin are dealing with their breakup, each taking a different turn on the road. It will be interesting to see how things end up and where these two go. We obviously know it isn't together.

I always look forward to Monday nights just for the reason of being able to see this show. Very funny story lines and great actors. For anyone who watches this show I am sure will agree that probably the funniest part of this show is Barney played by Doogie Howser...I mean Niel Patrick Harris. A well deserving Emmy nomination for Harris for playing the sex craved, relationship-phobe Barney. Hard to believe he used to play Doogie and has come a long way from that role. Awesome.

The people in the "Business" say that the sitcom is dead, but I have to tell ya that it is far from that after you watch How I Met Your Mother. Check it out on CBS Monday nights on at 8:00 est/7:00 cst.

Take care and enjoy your shows!!!
