So here we go...new movie releases for this weekend. A few good ones and a few limited releases that I will mention. Oh..what do you guys think of the new name????
Balls of Fury - starring Dan Folger, Christopher Walken and George Lopez. About a former pin pong champ who gets sucked into hleping the FBI take down a crime boss. This movie looks quite funny and I hope I get a chance to see it. Hopefully it won't be a let down.
Halloween - Rob Zombie's take on the Halloween series. I haven't heard many good things about this one so far, nor the script. I guess we will have to see what happens with this one. Don't count on it making a whole lot of money this weekend.
Death Sentence - starring Kevin Bacon as a father who seeks vengance after his son is brutally beaten by gang members. Sounds like Death Wish, but maybe better then the past movies on this topic that have come out lately. My be worth checking out
The Nines - starring Ryan Reynolds. In limited release, Reynolds stars in this movie playing three characters who's lives intertwine in unsettling ways. Interesting concept, click the link to learn more.
Deep Water - a documentary on the 1968 race between three men who attempted to be the first to sail the world non-stop. Again...limited release.
Self Medicated - in limited release. About a drgged up woman who puts her messed up son in a psych centre. Supposedly has been out for a couple of years and has received a ton of awards.
So thats basically it for this weekend. Should be a good one...check them out!!!
