New Movie Releases - Friday August 17

This has been a very busy week. First I take a drive with a buddy to pick up a motorbike on Tuesday and now I have spent the last two days putting up a new fence in my backyard. Needless to say, I haven't had much time for my blog. Anyways, here are the new releases for this weekend...

Superbad - this movie looks funny. Starring Jonah Hill, Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse about three friends who plan a booze filled party, basically so they can get laid. Craziness ensues. Sounds fun and dirty!!

The Last Legion - Starring Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley and in a supporting role, Kevin McKidd from the awesomeness that was Rome. A young Romulus Augustus flees Rome for Britain as he finds his empire crumbling He is search of supporters to his reign.

The Invasion - Starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. Kidman plays a psychiatrist who unearths the origins of an alien epidemic and that her son may be its only solution. A "remake" of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters - a documentary on "gamers" who are trying to break the classic video game World Records.

Death at a Funeral - directed by Frank Oz, this movie is about a man who discovers the dark secrets of an important British Family.

This could make for an interesting weekend at the cineplex. Check the out.

That's all for now!!
