If you love the Simpsons cartoon, you will love this movie. If you are a casual fan like I am, you will enjoy it, but leave the theatre feeling like you could have saved $8.50 by watching this same thing on the T.V.. I am not saying I didn't enjoy The Simpsons Movie. I thought it was quite funny watching Homer and his families adventures. But I guess I am just not the fan that a lot of you are. To be totally honest, I much prefer Family Guy. I know that's probably sacrilege to some, but I do. I find it very funny and just as stupid as the Simpsons.
The Simpsons Movie takes us through how Homer and his family must deal with the fact that they are on the run because Homer accidentally poisons the water of Springfield. The government moves in and quarantines the whole town by covering it with a dome. One thing leads to another and in the end Homer saves the day.
There some very funny moments in the movie. Especially when someone was getting hurt. Hitting themselves, falling down and so on. A lot of the movies best moments you see in the trailers though, so that kinda took a bit away from the movie. One thing I wasn't expecting and I am surprised I haven't heard more about it is we get to see "Little Bart". Nothing like seeing Bart's male appendage when you don't expect it. Quite funny actually.
Overall it was a good movie. This was a movie about Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. We get to see the supporting cast once and a while, but it didn't matter this movie was about the Simpsons. It is also one large Simpsons episode and one that won't disappointed the hardcore fan.
Enjoy it, I am sure you will like it.

I have never watched the cartoon even and the movie is very new to me. Though I love to watch cartoon movie movie still I have never heard about it. Now as I came to know about this movie I will watch it.
